Effective project management is critical to the delivery of effective learning and performance projects to support the objectives of our clients and partners. Join us for an interactive session as we identify core competencies of project managers, discuss our challenges managing training projects, share best practices and provide you with tools and templates to use in your own organization.

Presenters


Carolynn Woodis, Amica Mutual Insurance

Elected as Vice President of Operations of the chapter in March of 2014, Carolynn is responsible for planning and coordinating the logistics, set-up, registration and evaluations of ongoing programs.

Carolynn is a lead training specialist at Amica Mutual Insurance. She has been with Amica for over 25 years and has been in the training department for 17+years. While at Amica Carolynn developed a customer service program that has been used throughout many state departments like, DEM, DOT, DMV to name a few. Carolynn also created a self development program trained at Amica to assist employees with their career development.

Carolynn is certified in Franklin Covey’s Project Management Essentials for the Unofficial Project Manager.

Carolynn attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and is working towards her CPLP designation.

Carolynn lives in Burrillville, RI with her husband and son Colby.



Connor Gormley, FM Global

Elected as Vice President of Communication for the chapter in March 2015, Connor is responsible for all communication to our membership as well as those who are interested in our programing, but have not yet joined the chapter.

Connor is a project manager of client learning solutions at FM Global, a global provider of commercial property insurance with a unique risk engineering focus. FM Global's client training is based on the most up-to-date engineering research, helping clients achieve resiliency against fire, natural hazards and other perils to property loss.

Connor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bryant University and a Master of Education in Distance Learning from Northeastern University. He also holds Kirkpatrick’s Bronze Level Evaluation Certification and was named to the Masie Learning Consortium’s 30 under 30 learning professionals in 2010.
