In today’s world, people engage with technology from the time they wake up to when they go to bed. Email, Facebook, Twitter, news... all competing for time and attention.  Therefore, gaining their attention requires more than “just another email” in the Inbox. We need to grab attention using other channels such as video. Why do you think there are thousands of YouTube videos of kittens and puppies?  Because they are engaging!

Creating a video is as easy as using the iPhone you probably already have. Producing a video is as simple as 5 quick steps that anyone who can surf the internet can easily master.

Rick Kerner, chair of the National Advisors for Chapters, will show you in this engaging, 1-hour session just how easy it is to design, create and publish videos for your training needs.  The only limitation to what you can produce is your creativity!  Even if you think you're not 'tech savvy,' don't worry - Rick will break it down and show you the steps.

(P.S. Kittens and puppies are not included!)

Rick Kerner has been a training and media specialist with Victaulic in Easton, Pennsylvania, since 1995. In this role, Rick’s responsibilities have included leadership development training in the United States and Canada, development of targeted learning initiatives for internal worldwide colleagues, and most recently assisting senior management with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees. Rick has been a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter for more than 10 years, and served two terms as chapter president (2010-2011). Rick has been a member of the National Advisors for Chapters (NAC) since 2012. Rick holds a bachelor's degree in radio and television broadcasting, and a minor in behavioral psychology from Montclair University. Rick is passionate about customer service, time and performance management, and people development.
