Over the last 15 years L&D professionals have been told to focus on big data and learning analytics and that doing so earns a seat at the table. What has transpired from this has been an effort to collect a lot of data and generate a lot of reports. The unintended consequences of this are low response rates and miniscule use of the data to improve performance. This session will present a fresh approach to shift the mindset from measurement and reporting to performance improvement. While there will always be a debate whether executives value ROI or statistics, there is never a question that executives care deeply about performance and when it is low they want the business to improve it.

Performitiv is a performance improvement technology company. As COO Jeffrey is responsible for the day-to-day operations. Prior to Performitiv, Jeffrey was the COO of KnowledgeAdvisors and led the creation of day to day operations. Recently Jeffrey was COO of dscout, a mobile market research company where he cultivated core financial, business strategy, procurement and sales functions. Jeffrey is an adjunct professor of operations at Loyola University and has authored 3 books on analytics and process improvement.
